Launch of the Official Malay-Language Website Sharing Hiroshima’s Message of Peace with Malaysia in the Malay Language
As a broadcaster based in Hiroshima, the city affected by the atomic bombing, Television Shin Hiroshima (TSS) has continued since its establishment to produce programs and news reports aimed at the abolition of nuclear weapons and the realization of peace. On July 22, 2026, TSS launched the official Malay-language website of the Hiroshima Peace Program – TSS Archive Project, an initiative that shares testimonies and video records of the atomic bombing preserved in Hiroshima with audiences in Japan and around the world.
The website is intended to deliver the reality of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and the city’s message of peace to people in Malaysia and other Malay-speaking regions.
The website features a 24-hour live stream of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, allowing viewers to observe present-day Hiroshima from anywhere in the world. It also includes a video introducing Abdul Razak, who studied in Hiroshima as a Special South Area Student and was exposed to the atomic bombing, as well as Malay-language brochures and posters (PDFs) that can be used for peace education and other learning activities.
Through the TSS Archive Project, TSS will continue its efforts to pass on the valuable video records and testimonies preserved in Hiroshima to future generations and to communicate the importance of peace to the world across national borders and language barriers.
Malay-language versions of the TSS Archive Project’s video content will be released progressively in the future.
