March 2024
TSS Archive Project welcomed Mr. Shane Neirinckx and Ms. Emma Warner from the University of Idaho to the head office of TSS (TV Shin-Hiroshima) on March 8th, 2024. Shane, majoring in International Studies and Political Science, and Emma, majoring in History, traveled to Hiroshima to research the postwar relationship between Hiroshima University and the University of Idaho. Shane who has been studying Japanese at the university, is currently participating in the University of Idaho-TSS Joint Project (TSS Next Generation Succession Project) and working on the translation for the TSS peace-related news report.
During their visit, we exchanged opinions about the joint projects with the students. Shane and Emma had a great time touring the TSS facilities and visited the production studio where the evening news is produced.
