University of Idaho/TSS Next Generation Succession Project
Start of joint production of English-language editions of peace-related news from 2024!

A project to translate peace-related news reported by TV Shin Hiroshima (TSS), a broadcaster in the A-bombed city of Hiroshima, into English together with students from the University of Idaho in the U.S. and transmit the translation to the world began in January 2024.
The Next Generation Inheritance Project, which began in FY2022, is a project to translate A-bomb testimonies and peace-related news into English together with the younger generation and pass on the reality of the atomic bombing to the next generation, this year, the project was officially adopted as a teaching tool for the Japanese language class at the University of Idaho.
This project will be carried out throughout the year, and students at the University of Idaho will learn the Japanese language and the reality of the atomic bombing while communicating peace to the world.
